PC and laptop cannot see each other on network.

I checked previous posts but they seem to be slightly different to my problem.
I have a PC and laptop, both on W10. Laptop is on wifi. They cannot see each other. Both machines can see other devices on the LAN. Both machines can print to a network printer.
When I open "Add devices and printers" on the PC, it shows the laptop as Not connected. When I open it on the laptop, it shows the PC as Not connected.
So Windows can obviously see both machines but they will not communicate.
Both machines have Network discovery and File and printer sharing turned on.
    Any ideas anyone?

    :)

  2. Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.

My PC is not listed in Network

Hi Eagle51 & thanks for quick response

I am very grateful for your help

1 was not enabled. I enabled it and restarted the HT-PC, but now the HT-PC is not visible in Network list on any computer.

...then i run 2 and both was true.

    Next step?
