    PC can't detect 2nd Monitor


    My PC has two hdmi ports. I am trying to setup a TV as a second monitor. I have a samsung monitor connected to my pc via hdmi. everything works. I connect my tv to the pc via the second hdmi port but my pc does not detect it all. I have looked everywhere and done pretty much everything, i cant find the solution. I just want to use the second monitor as a display, no audio. Windows 10 Home with Radeon RX 580 Series.

    Windows 10 stopped detecting 2nd monitor

    I've restarted the computer (several times), and it's not showing any signs of detecting the 2nd monitor.

    Ever since it stopped working, there's only '1' Display option; clicking 'Detect' in Multiple displays results in the message
    "Didn't detect another display"; the Device Manager only lists one monitor (screenshot below); and it has stopped allowing me to select other projection modes unless I connect to the 2nd monitor wirelessly.

    I'm using an HDMI cable for the 2nd monitor, and have tried both HDMI ports on the monitor unsuccessfully. The monitor models are Dell E2414H and LG 24J4840.

    2nd monitor not being detected

    Received a software update for windows 10. Upon restart my 2nd monitor was no longer working. Went to the display section in Settings and it is not being detected. Pushed the detect button and nothing. How do I get this back. My 2nd monitor is more
    important than any new things in the update.

    2nd monitor is not detected

    Just purchased AOC portable monitor. Loaded drivers. When I plug the monitor into USB3.0, it flashes on (AOC) and then goes off. There is no on/off button. Using Windows 10. Monitor is not detected. I am not sure what else I must do in order to use
    this monitor. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
