Windows 10: PC conected to TV - no sound

Hi! I have an VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X430FA_S430FA. Now when i connect the PC to TV with HDMI, audio stays only in PC, it not came out of TV, but some time ago there was no such problems. I have tried many solutions, out of youtube video, but nothings change. What else I can do, why doesn't the sound come from TV?

We appreciate your interest in Windows 10. The description suggests the issue could have occurred due to drivers issues. I suggest you to update the drivers for Smart TV as well as graphics card and check if that helps. Here is the steps:

  Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.

  Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Look for the specified drivers, expand, right-click the device drivers listed, and then click
  Update.

no sound from pc to tv

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing sound from the system and TV after the latest update. We will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Which was the latest update installed on your computer?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated audio drivers. Try the below and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to Run troubleshooter from
Fix sound problems and check.

Method 2: Uninstall and Update the Audio driver.

I suggest you to uninstall the existing driver and update it.

Steps:

• Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
• Expand Audio inputs and outputs, right click on
  High Definition Audio Device and click on Uninstall.
• Restart and Windows will re-install the
  IDT High Definition Audio driver.

Method 3: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.

Window Media Player and Movies & TV arent working with internet conection

I realize that WMP and M& TV app is not working on your PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

As Windows Media Player is not able to access the file, suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if that helps. Follow these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.
  

Select “Windows Media Player Settings” troubleshooter and run it to check if that helps.

Further, you may also take ownership of the file to check if that helps.

Follow these steps:

• 
  Right click the file and select Properties.
  
• 
  Click the Security tab, tap or click Advanced, then tap or click Change. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  
• 
  Type the name of the person that you want to give ownership to, and then click Check Names.
  

Note: The account name for the person that you are assigning ownership to is displayed.

• 
  Click OK.
  
• 
  If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders that are contained in this folder, select the “Replace owner on sub-containers and objects” check box.
  
• 
  Click OK.
