PC crashing, don't have proper permission to create dmp files from event viewer

Need some help please. I am having random frequent crashes which result in blue screen and restart.Below are the only files I can use the links from in the error log. I don't even have permission to compress the dmp file and most links say I don't have permission to view. My main account is administrator so I am not sure why I don't have proper permissions. The only other item I can open / share is the event file. Not sure if I shared these files properly. I put them in OneDrive and created a share link which I copied and pasted below.Error filesevent file.evtxAny help is appreciated.Thank y

    :)

    Event Viewer (MCC.exe) crashes 'System.IO.IOException'

I'm afraid this is another Windows 1903 bug (current ver 1836.175) as it is reproducible on every (?) PC.

    • run Event Viewer
    • click 'Create Custom View' on the right panel
    • create for example a filter for System, events 6005, 6006, give it a name and save it:
PC crashing, don't have proper permission to create dmp files from event viewer 236949d1560340577t-event-viewer-mcc-exe-crashes-system-io-ioexception-image.png
    • then click on the left tree "Custom Views" and an mcc.exe crash will occur *Confused reporting a IO error reading "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Event Viewer\Views\View_0.xml"

    P.S.
To roll-back you can from an admin prompt:

mmc could not create the snap-in in event viewer (Windows 10)

I tried the KB but didn't work.

I found this and it fixed my event viewer mmc error

    1. Open File Explorer on the device.
    2. Navigate to the following path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Event Viewer\Views
    3. Backup the content of the folder. The next step deletes the custom views and you may want the backup to restore the views when Microsoft fixes the issues.
    4. Delete all View_X.xml files in the folder (it starts with View_0.xml and increments the number by 1 for each file).
    5. Start the Event Viewer after deleting the files.

The .dmp file listed in event viewer does not exist.

I am a windows 11 user (version 22H2, OS build 22621.1105). I am trying to diagnose an issue where my USB devices will randomly stop working. There are a few events in the event viewer that I want to look at the .dmp file in order to find the VID and DEV values to pinpoint the exact device that is causing the events. The event is 1001, with P1: 144 and P2 101E. Looking at this windows-driver-docs/bug-check-0x144--bugcode-usb3-driver.md at staging · MicrosoftDocs/windows-driver-docs · GitHub documentation, I can tell that there is some issue with a command to the USB device. I need to look at the dump file provided with this event, but unfortunately the one listed in event viewer "C:\WINDOWS\LiveKernelReports\USBXHCI\USBXHCI-20230122-1420.dmp" does not exist. Is there another location this may be stored? Is there another way to check the USB device that is causing this issue? I have also tried to access "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\Kernel_144_c74e7b9a1ab6faf2992b63a659ea8cc184551c_00000000_cab_b2ff13bc-ceaf-4b8d-b2e6-22e5daa692c9", as it said some files may be there, but I apparently do not have the privilege (even as administrator) to do so.
