Windows 10: PC has crashed twice. First time Windows rebooted and started scanning/repairing, nothing...

From the Reliability Monitor: The first crash says: Problem Windows was not properly shut down Description The previous system shutdown at 9:48:09 PM on ‎2/‎21/‎2023 was unexpected. The second crash says: Problem Windows was not properly shut down Description The previous system shutdown at 10:08:03 PM on ‎3/‎6/‎2023 was unexpected. Both of these dont give a lot of info, nor was there a DMP file in \Windows\ I did find something from 3/3/23 about a hardware error causing windows to "stop working correctly". the PC didnt crash then, but perhaps it is significant. Scanning and repairing drive on every start-up

Recently, I had a start-up error with the "Reboot and select proper Boot device" message. I fixed it by unplugging and then plugging back in my drives, but since then it has been slow with starting up Windows, attempting to scan and repair an unknown drive before the login screen.

I need help to figure out which disk it is referring to and how to get rid of the scan and repair thing on start-up.

This stopcode usually means that there is a problem with some of the main Windows system files being damaged, sometimes caused by viruses.

What I'd suggest is two steps:

1. Run an antivirus on the PC (it does give you some time to work before it crashes?). Then also run a boot-time scan with an antivirus that has this capability.
   
2. Since Windows is already damaged a good thing to do is perform a repair via an in-place upgrade. (which basically reinstalls Windows but keeps the programs and files, just like when upgrading an older windows to windows 10.) A good guide for that can be found here: How to Do a Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade (the Step 6 method is probably easiest.)

Thanks. I did step 1, and it said C wasn't dirty.
I did step 2, but after it finished the whole repair, it continues to give me the same scanning and repairing message on start-up.
