    ICUE v3.37.140

    Built pc November 2019 and been running great ever since. Saturday I played games for a good 8/9hrs playing Bf5 and Nioh. PC ran great and ICUE operated correctly since I have ICUE dashboard open on second monitor to see Temps and fans rpms. Saturday night I powered down PC since after a year I decided to change Memory settings from auto to XMP. In control panel, performance tab the default 2133mhz went to 3200mhz. Booted up BF5 about 20min in the game crashed to desktop. I figured it was the memory change so back into Bios and set it back to auto. Booted up BF5 again with in 20mins BSOD. The amount of crashes, bug checks and deadlocks was happening every 20mins to 1hr. Crashes happened just being in desktop/ internet since I was trying/researching error codes. Tried to read memory dumps files but needed admin privileges which I am the only user. Not sure why this is but eventually I was able to read memory dump files which I will get to. My calm Sunday turned into a headache. Had my phone with me so I can take a pic a Pic of B[COLOR=rgba42, 0, 170, 1]SOD. The error was Whea untroubled error related to some hardware. I figured I damaged the memory so went to Best Buy bought new memory and crashes still occurred. Did a scandsk/r and memory test that Windows 10 offers, errors still occurred. In short I gave up and did a fresh install Sunday night and installed ICUE latest version during windows 10 1709 OS Build. Still received crashes. Finally was able to read a memory dump and there was the issu[/COLOR]e .........corsair.serve.exe. Went to Corsair Forum for research. Found some articles what I went through. Monday after work first thing I did was delete ICUE. Before playing any games I was just letting Windows 10 continued updates and I continued researching. PC was more stable then it has been from Sunday but still received a few bugcheck crashes. What the error codes were don't remember since everytime a Memory dump occurred the file was replaced with most current dump. PC seems more stable, so today I plan to test with Nioh since it's not a very Cpu and Gpu heavy dependent game to see what happens. All 6 fans and led lights are working but with no ICUE, fans are all at max rpms with an ugly lightning theme.
    [/COLOR]

    Tried to play Nioh and within the first minute of the game loading crashed. I was able to debug one crash and it was pool corruption.

    [COLOR=rgba42, 0, 170, 1]I will link a memory dump when it occurs again. I have been unbale to get help from Corsair with ICUE but the crashes seem to be more related to something else.[/COLOR]

    Just wondering if there is something I can do in the meantime? I been at this since 11am Sunday morning trying to have PC stable like it was until Sunday morning.

    [COLOR=rgba42, 0, 170, 1]Thanks for any help or info.[/COLOR]

    :)

    Constant BSOD with multiple stop codes

    I've been getting BSODs for months now when gaming and I can't figure out what's going on. Here's the list of stop codes which I've tried troubleshooting individually with no success:

    Page Fault in Nonpaged Area

    IRQL Not Less or Equal

    Kernel Security Check Failure

    APC Index Mismatch

    In the Event Viewer I found that I am getting a error for a Bugcheck. Here's the message I receive: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0xffff9c005ff16354, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff8024f3791f2).
    A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 29aa2753-78f1-403f-9f8b-412131cde536.

    I'm not sure how to open the dump file or attach it for anyone to review but any help on this would be appreciated.

    PC has not been stable since BSOD, bugchecks and stop errror codes.

    Windows 10 2004 causing constant bugchecks (BSODs)

    On the 19th of August I was prompted for a new feature updated to Windows 10, version 2004.

    The update was successful however, after 5 minutes in the new version, Windows started crashing with 0x0000003b or 0x0000001a error codes.
    I tried checking for further updates but these kept on failing to download or install. At this point I started investigating the issue but soon found out that I had lost my Admin rights, so couldn't open Device Manager, Event Viewer, or any other system
    windows. When opening these applications I would get a User Account Control window with "An administrator has blocked you from running this app.". In the same window you could see the publisher being "Unknown".

    I tried running chkdsk, dfs and dism commands but caused more BSODs. After 2 failed attempts, I finally rolled back to previous Windows version, but still didn't have admin rights. After extensive reading on the internet (almost a week of it), the most common
    approach was to start from a clean installation of Windows. So I followed the suggestions.

    After a complete pc clean up and reinstallation, we are back to constant applications crashing and BSODs. I have installed latest graphics drivers (running NVIDIA).Below are some of the things I have observed:

    • Everytime an application, such as Firefox, Edge, VS Code, etc crashes, I noticed the following message in the event viewer:
    Code:
    Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows.
    • Just before VS Code crashed I noticed the UI, text and icons, getting blurry and drawn with bigger and bigger pixels. The browsers crashed sporadically when on YouTube, so I thought it might be related to a graphics. So I tried to trigger a crash by loading
      a video game, but that caused a crash only once, out of three attempts.
    • All BSODs, or Bug Checks, failed with one of the following:
    Code:
    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
    [b]0x0000001a[/b] (0x0000000000041792, 0xfffff4811eb931b0, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: d2a43aee-73d6-48c1-93b9-af026ca1f280.The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:

    • Search functionality in the start menu has crashed the machine twice;
    • Opening Powershell once caused a bug check;
    • Opening the Action Centre caused a bug check;
    • Plugging in a usb external harddisk caused a bug check (just my backed-up photos on it, no executables);
    • A few further updates, such as Security Intelligence definitions, took a few attempts before successfully installing.

    System details:

    • Processor: Intel i5-6600K
    • RAM: 16GB
    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
    • Windows Version: 2004
    • OS Build 19041.508
    • Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0

    Could you please help me with this and suggest my next steps. Also, let me know if you would like further information.

    I'm starting to get frustrated now as I haven't been able to use my PC reliably for almost a month. This has been getting in the way of my work as I'm currently working from home, so I'm hoping to getting it fixed as soon as possible.

    Thank you very much for you help.
