Windows 10: PC Issue

Need advice from you guys
So I decided to do a system restore(factory settings) on my computer last night, and when I hit the restore button, the computer restarted but never finished the restore process. The monitor was blacked out, and the pc kept restarting itself, I think. couldnt tell cuz the screen was black. And it was like this for about 6hrs, until there was a power outage for about fraction of a second. So hit the power button, and nothing came on the screen.
so what do you guys think?

Im having same issue tryed wireless first then was successful wired directly for short period but my HP rejects drivers. I read I need the hollywood edition ????????

 

Hi, I'm guessing you've got a desktop as you haven't completed your system specs.

I'd run chkdsk on your disk on each partition before going any further.
You could use a boot disk to do that. (One is available from this forum - see top of Software and Apps section.

What OS did your PC come with?
Why are you restoring to factory settings? (E.g. return to old os 'cos I don't like Win 10 - or maybe it came with Win 10).
If you want Win 10 back on it, you can simply do a clean install. It will activate automatically, and not have trialware etc like restoring to factory settings.
