Windows 10: pc keeps loosing connection

Hello, I am currently running windows 10 and I am having a connection issue. I will be gaming/streaming fine for a few hours then all of a sudden I loose connection for literally a split second. It's so fast that when I go to click on my network icon in the task bar it disappears and fixes itself. This last time I was able to catch it though before it fixed itself and it said it didn't have a valid ip address. Is it possible that the ip address keeps resetting itself every few hours? If so how do I stop it from renewing?

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Internet connection causes computer to loose power.

An outdated network adapter can be one possible reason for this.
To isolate the issue, kindly provide us these details:

• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• How are you connected to the internet? Is it via Ethernet cable or is it wirelessly connected?
• Have you installed the latest Windows updates?

To help us diagnose the cause of this error, we would suggest that you follow these steps:



Step 1: Boot into safe mode and check if the issue persists

Safe mode starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. To boot into safe mode, kindly follow the steps on this link.



Step 2: If issue does not persist in safe mode, we suggest you to place the computer in clean boot and check which third party application driver is causing the issue.

Follow the steps on this link to
perform a clean boot.



Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in Step 7 in the above KB article.

Need help with connecting external pc to used for raid storage

Basically I want to set up raid in a separate pc to be used only for the hard drives.

But I don't know how I would best connect this raid setup into my computer.

• Do I use a NIC card to gigabit over multiple channels?
• Or perhaps a really long sata III cable?
• I don't want to connect it over the network. I just want to directly connect it.

Goals:

• Access data quick
• Keep hard drives external to PC
• Ease of use
• Keep costs down (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)
• Expandability (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)

How do I do this?
