Windows 10: PC keeps shutting down

My win 10 pc keeps shutting down when left inactive for any length of time. I have checked the power options page, see screenshot





Is there anything here that I need to change?

I have just disabled hybrid sleep to see if this solves the issue.

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

my pc keeps shutting down and I get the same error information:

go to windows.com/stopcode

error: video_scheduler_internal_error

has anyone else had the same problem with windows 10?

 

Go into the advanced power settings, find the HDD section and tell it to shut off the Hard disk 'Never', then apply and save.

 

Thanks. Giving that a go as the hybrid sleep setting did not work.

Will I really have to reconfigure these settings every time MS pushes out an update to windows 10?

 

You shouldn't. That being the key word of course, "Shouldn't".

 

Thanks. This seems to have done it but I am sure that the windows update reconfigured this setting as did not have the problem until then.
