Windows 10: PC lags and audio stutters for a second then stops, happens rarely.

Ever since I built this PC in December of 2020, it's had problems where rarely the whole computer would slow down and visibly run at 3-5 fps, and the audio would become choppy and laggy as well. It would fix itself within 1-2 seconds and usually wouldn't ever happen again until I turned off the computer and turned it on again. It also doesn't cause any problems afterward, it's just a weird and scary burst of lag that abruptly starts and ends without warning. It used to only happen when I was doing "intensive" stuff like running a game or watching a video while doing something else.Now, it seem

Computer stutter / lag

Just throwing this out there see if you guys have any ideas as to what might be causing this. Every now and then my pc will start to stutter / lag but it's not constant, it's only really noticeable if i'm playing a game or i'm moving my mouse as it will stop for a millisecond and continue on. Hard to explain. I recorded a video of it happening which is linked below.

- Has been compressed too much, but if you put it in 0.5 speed it's more visible.

After the video I went through and closed non essential processes checking for a few seconds after each one, it only disappeared after closing Edge browser which is very odd in my opinion.

This stutter doesn't affect audio.

 

Bluetooth audio stuttering and lagging

So I have the same issue at my end.
I have Sony WH-1000 XM4 and it has audio stuttering and lagging.

I found the actual reason for this:

I have 3 Bluetooth devices connected with my PC.

1) Logitech Keyboard 380
2) HP Bluetooth Mouse 700
3) Sony WH-1000 XM4

Now whenever all 3 are connected, I get audio stuttering and lagging. But when I connect my mouse with Wireless Dongle and only 2 devices are connected audio works fine.

I don't think any of the below solutions will work. It has to do something with more devices connected with the system via Bluetooth. Seems like windows can only communicate with 2 Bluetooth devices at a time.

 

Stuttering Every Two Seconds

Every two seconds I get a stutter, the mouse freezes and then jumps forward. Audio stutters, games stutter, everything stutters very briefly (on the order of milliseconds) every two seconds.

This happens every two seconds like clock work. It happens on windows, it happens in browsers, it happens in games.

I've tried updating all the drivers I can find. I've tried a System restore to last month even though the problem just started today. I've tried closing out of programs and disabling various tasks.

I've tried various checks and all come back clean:

• sfc /scannow
• DISM.exe/Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
• CHKDSK /f

Please help!
