Windows 10: PC locks up overnight

my computer locks up overnight I have to hold the on/off button for 2 minutes then it loads but won't come on

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

PC Build Steps

1.1 - Ideally put optical in SATA 0, and SSD in SATA 1, this will cause the optical drive to be the default 1st boot option. You can change it manually if not, but I like it this way
2.infinity - yes, that's fine. if it's above 70 +/- 5 degrees, then it may just need a repaste/remount

Thank you for posting in Community, we understand your concern and we will try our best to help you resolve your issue.

I would like you to perform the methods below to check if the issue that you are facing occurs in different modes and stated in your computer. This will helps us narrow down the cause of the issue.

Method 1:

I would suggest that you run Power troubleshooter to check for any error. To do so follow the steps below:

• On the search bar type “Troubleshooting”
• Click on “View All” left panel.
• Click Power, new window will popup.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Method 2:

Place your system in Safe Mode, lock your system and check if the same situation occurs. To place your system in Safe Mode follow the steps below:

• Open Run Command (Windows button +R)
• A dialog box will open type “msconfig”
• Locate and select the Boot tab and select Safe with Minimal
  as option.
• Restart Computer

Note: Follow the same procedure to undo Safe Mode, uncheck the Safe option and restart your system.
