Windows 10: PC locks while gaming

Hello everyone!

Some time ago I had some problems with rams( BSOD- Critical Process died, System_service_exception, Memory_managent ), but we managed to solve them and everything was good until this week. I started to have random freezes while gaming, I still can use my mouse when the game freezes until I click something or try to press CTRL+Alt+Del for example, and then the whole pc locks up.

I've took out ram sticks and left only one to test and it still freezes. I tried to check the temperatures and see if they have something to do with it and found that some temperatures never changes:




Temperatures #4 and #5 always stays the same even under high load. Is it normal? I've never noticed it. Also the GPU temperature goes up to 82C under high load. Everything else seems to be normal.

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

First and simplest thing to do is have a look at "Reliability History". Just type reliability history in the search bar and click on "View reliability history". That will show you all issues you had the day of your "lock" and possibly what the cause was.
