  1. PC Manager not functioning correctly.

Whenever I press the 'Boost. button, it shows the rocket animation and is stuck there forever. I even noticed that when I press the boost button, the number of temporary files increases when the rocket animation starts. Is there any way it can be fixed? I even uninstalled and installed it from the Microsoft Store, but it didn't fix the problem.

    :)

  2. how to manage return points and how to unpersonalize windows search function

    Hi Alifolie,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you have a couple of issues with your Windows 11 system. Let me address your questions step by step:

    1. Managing Return Points:
      • Recovery points in Windows are created to provide a way to roll back your system to a previous state in case of issues. To manage recovery points, you can follow these steps:
        • Type "Create a recovery drive" in the search bar and open the corresponding system settings.
        • From there, you can create a recovery drive or access System Restore to manage existing recovery points.
    2. Depersonalizing Windows Search:
      • To depersonalize the Windows search function, you can try the following steps:
        • Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Search and uncheck any options related to personalized results.
        • Additionally, you can clear your search history and disable online search suggestions to further depersonalize the search function.
On the first question if my understanding is wrong please feel free to ask.

As for managing recovery points saved in your Microsoft account, it's worth noting that Windows backups and recovery points are usually stored locally on your device rather than in your Microsoft account. However, you can use OneDrive for cloud-based file backup and recovery, but it's not directly related to system recovery points.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave us a message.

    Best regards

    PC Manager not functioning correctly.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond PC Manager not functioning correctly. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
