Windows 10: PC monitor is stuck in sleeping mode

Help please. My PC has been stuck on sleeping mode for maybe a few months. Since August. The PC is working fine and whenever I turn it on I can hear it working but the monitor just says sleeping mode and turns back off. How do I fix this? I can’t let my family know about this either and I need to make it work fast.

My desktop has been in sleep mode for 4 days. when i tried to wake it up, it is stuck in sleep. My monitor is also stuck in sleep mode. When restarting monitor, light is green for 5 seconds, then goes to sleep. When restarting my computer it turns on in
