    PC Not booting up to Windows


    I had a regedit change that allowed windows to install things automatically on my HDD by changing the path of x86 and Program Files folders to 2 folders created on my HDD. This helps saving SSD space. It's useful since a lot of programs don't show a installation folder option e.g Google ChromeTo make Windows install updates I always had to change the path back to its original state which directs the system to use the x86 and Program Filea folders on C: drive.The update was installed flawlessly with a few Program icons missing from desktop probably because they were installed on the HDD fold

    PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

    I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

    Steps that i have tried:
    "No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

    Made sure all connections are properly connected.

    Flashing the CMOS

    Tested the PSU

    Followed all steps in the user manual

    If there are any links that you guys can point me to or suggestions that could help it would be highly appreciated. Thank you

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
