Windows 10: PC powering down by it self

Since upgrading my PC from Windows 7 ultimate to Windows 10 Pro. my PC will randomly power down then restart automatically often. Any suggestions? I ruled out issues with the sleep mode. (now turned off)

Self Help PC Troubleshooting Guides

Hello, I'm brand new to your website. This is my first post here.

I'm looking for some self help guides / tutorials for PC troubleshooting - new Custom Desktop Builds.

1) Such as, dead Desktop Computer, no fans, no lights, no nothing....dead!

2) Blank Monitor, but fans spin.

3) Blank Monitor, suck in boot loop.

Don't like reading long drawn out explanations; I like tutorials which get right to the point.

Would prefer, by the numbers type format.

Step 1: Swap PSU
Step 2: Swap Monitor
Step 3: R&R all Cable connections, make sure you haven't plugged the 8 pin power cable in backwards.

Are there any PC troubleshooting guides like this on your website. Not sure, how to look them up here.

Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Lost Power, now PC won't boot. Powers on and clicks.


I had tried both of those steps. Neither worked. I have a replacement power supply on order. Should be here on Monday. Thanks for the suggestions.
