Windows 10: PC RAM

Hello everyone, I have 32GB of RAM installed in my PC right now 2x16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Ghz. I have noticed that whenever I'm multitasking my RAM is almost completely used up and i run into error problems. When i go to "About" under my system settings under memory it says 32GB 16GB usable When i open my task manager it also says I'm only using 16GB and 16GB is under hardware reserve. I have tried checking and un-checking the boot memory option under the system configuration. I've tried changing my virtual memory settings. i ant figure out why I'm not able to use my full 32GB. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin
