Windows 10: PC randomly restarts No BSOD - Deletes audio drivers

Hi, basically my pc for a while will randomly restart with no bsod during gameplay or just idling. This would happen from anywhere between 10 or more times in a row or every other week. After upgrading most of my parts I still get this error but slightly differently, in that the pc will stay powered on, the fans go crazy and my mouse and keyboard turn off monitor loses signal. Sometimes the pc will boot up on its own and continue as normal, however majority of the time I have to power it off by the switch and on again manually as the power button on the case stops working. Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

 

New PC randomly restarting, Event 41 Kernel Power

Created an account to post my fix.

I found a common cause of this is multiple audio drivers attempting to run at the same time. I had three.

• one USB sound card
• One realtek chip on my motherboard
• One nvidia sound chip on my graphics card.

Go to device manager and disable the ones you don't use and restart PC. Let me know if it works.
