Windows 10: PC Restarting around same time daily.

My PC just yesterday started Restarting it self around the same time daily, When i go into event logs it just says this...

The Previous system Shutdown at 12:34:51 am on 4/02/2020 was unexpected.

The Previous system Shutdown at 11:36:43 pm on 4/02/2020 was unexpected.

I have Updated my drivers, Done Virus/Malware Scans nothing has shown up, It didn't do this prior only started yesterday.

Ok, just ask and we will go step by step.

For temps monitoring, I like HWinfo. download and install (link was here before). At start it will ask you if running only sensors, check yes and run



Find Temps/ Core max and GPU, click them and graph will show.




You can show it in system tray too. follow like in the picture below

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Daily Unwanted Restarts

HP Notebook-17-P161DXP Notebook, Windows 10, Purchased March 2016. On a daily basis, this system will restart at least once, regardless of what I am doing. It will, for example, restart while it is initially starting up, or, just sitting idle, or composing an email, or doing a crossword (entering text) online), using wordpad etc. Once it has restarted, it seems to be good for the day ! This did not happen for the 1st year or so.

I have researched the "Random Restarts fixes for Windows 10 listed on WEB, but to no avail.
I use AVAST, and MBAM Premium and scan daily, don't think it is caused with Malware.
