PC restarting randomly, event viewer unhelpful.

My PC just restarted out of the blue, no warning, no BSOD.I tried looking in the event viewer, but for some reason it's mixing languages from the two language packs I've installed? I don't know why it's doing that but it's not helping me find out the reason for the restart. It's a brand new PC, W11 Pro.

    :)

Can somebody with nvidia gpu force manually restart pc and then check event viewer, for me?

Not sure. I haven't seen the that thread...

However, if anyone didn't catch it (I didn't, surprisingly - reported his dupe, and Tatty smelled it before I did), this is our good friend sew333/litwicki24/sde44 etc etc... Jump out of the rinse and repeat cycle boys.

    Event viewer

I suggest you re-install the video driver. I'll add a few words of explanation about Event viewer in a moment. They won't affect the need to reinstall that driver as your first step. Denis

  4. PC restarting randomly, event viewer unhelpful.

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

How is it in 2019 Windows Event Viewer is still laughably unhelpful?: Windows has it's hooks deep in a pc, so I am stunned that even today, Windows can still only give the most useless information for certain things such as random rebooting...It simply tells you 'The previous system shutdown at 1:50:27 PM on ‎7/‎15/‎2019 was unexpected.'...
