Windows 10: PC restarting suddenly multiple times

Hello guys,I am Alex I'd rather not disclose my actual name.I am a not a gamer, nor do I have any gaming laptop. Yet, I like to play games.One of those is Valorant.This game used to run fine and smooth on my laptop. An update in Valorant brought us to Evolution 7, Act III.However, after this update, Riot brought out another update.After this update, I ran a team deathmatch. I was playing when my laptop suddenly restarted. It did not even show restarting screen, the screen went black straight and it restarted. I thought it might be some bug or something, but no as soon as I launched Valorant,

Created an account to post my fix.

I found a common cause of this is multiple audio drivers attempting to run at the same time. I had three.

• one USB sound card
• One realtek chip on my motherboard
• One nvidia sound chip on my graphics card.

Go to device manager and disable the ones you don't use and restart PC. Let me know if it works.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
