Windows 10: PC screen shuts off while playing games but PC itself remains on

This started a few days ago when I unplugged my controller from the PC and then the screen shuts off while the PC remains on. It then continued happening for the rest of the night and over the past couple days. I have tried multiple games and the same result occurs. Once the screen goes black there seems to be no way for me to get it back on without shutting off my pc with the power button. The audio continues to work at least for a couple of minutes then sometimes will shut off after a short time. I am still able to hear and speak to friends in discord but I can hear the game audio changes

My PC keeps shutting down unexpectedly when playing Valorant & PUBG

I hope this message finds you well. I’m experiencing an issue with my PC where it randomly shuts down while playing games like Valorant and PUBG. Sometimes it runs 1 to 2 games before shutting down unexpectedly.

I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps, such as checking for overheating, updating drivers, and adjusting power settings. However, the problem persists. I suspect there might be an underlying issue causing these shutdowns.

Could you please provide guidance or suggest additional steps to diagnose and resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It wouldn't play any games at all, just shut down my PC each time. I checked the CPU temp on a high demanding game, highest temp was 136 f which is ok.

Solved the problem, my PC was plugged into a backup power supply unit so on a hunch I plugged it into a separate outlet directly. Ericka, most have had a power drop from the UPS unit to my PS which caused it to shut down on high demand, so I'll have to replace
it. Lucky because I'd still be trying to fix it
