Windows 10: PC shutdown after 5 minutes or so

After clicking shutdown button nothing happen on the computer. It will just freeze and you can cant click on anything. After couple of minutes 5 minutes is the minimum it will turn off or restart normally. If I shutdown the computer again it will do the same process. This only happen 2 days ago and I cant remember anything about the changes.

5 to 7 Minutes for Shutdown

Ever since I installed the 2004 update, my computer takes at least 5 minutes to shutdown. I have monitored the running shutdown processes and the offending process seems to be the Group Policy Client. I don't believe I need this service, but I cannot disable
it. I have tried everything I have found on the web, but nothing works to disable it. Not through Services, a Registry hack, changing the name of the GPEDIT.MSC file or via Command Prompt.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

Power cycle your device. Here are the steps:

• Force shutdown your computer by pressing and holding the power button down for 5 to 10 seconds.
• Remove all the attached cables for 2 minutes then put them back on.

If the same thing happens, we suggest that you perform the reset again.
