Windows 10: PC shuts down even not running a game after latest update

Specs:Ryzen 5 3600XTGIGABYTE RTX 2060 Super OC WindforceAsus Prime B550M-A600W psuAll of them are updated to the latest drivers.Windows 10 Pro version: 2004 - 19041.928 latestMy system was working without any problems since I built it. But after installed the latest update it started to shut itself down even not running any game. I deleted SSD on BIOS and reinstalled Windows. I tried limiting CPU power by %90 on advanced power settings but it didn't worked. I even tried to reset BIOS settings and retune cpu cooling and chassis fans.I have no problem like fps drop or performanc

Laptop randomly shuts down after latest Windows 10 update

Since the latest update of Windows 10 my computer decides to randomly shut down after every couple of minutes. First the screen goes black, then the sounds stops and after quite a while the power also goes down.

Obviously I though of cleaning the fan with a big vacuum, as suggested on My Windows 10 Computer Randomly Shuts Down . However, after doing this, the shutting down goes even quicker. I cannot even properly log-on before the shutdown takes place.

What should be my next step?

Ps. The computer is quited aged (roughly 3 - 4 years). The battery is dead enough such that I always need to have it plugged in an outlet. It might just be "done for" but I'm hoping to revive it for just a little bit more.

I suggest you to install the Game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install Game in compatibility mode:

1. Download the Game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the Game install and then check the functionality.



And also update Display driver from the manufacture web site and check if it helps.

You may also try installing the game in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the game software in compatibility mode and check if that helps.
