    PC totally dead stuck in BIOS loop, automatic repair loop


    HiI have had this problem for the past couple of days trying to fix this.I had to update my windows, but every time I updated it did not seem like It had updated.So every time I went to shutdown my PC I could update again.Then one day I closed all my apps and the update seemed to work.But then when I started my system up again I got stuck in a ASUS loading screen with a circle loading with dots.In the beginning I could fix this by restarting my PC on the case itself and the system would boot up correctly after.But then I got a bit frustrated that I had to do that every time I would turn on my

    PC totally dead stuck in BIOS loop, automatic repair loop

    Automatic repair loop

    So I have a year old ASUS laptop. Yesterday it entered the automatic repair loop and now I can't get it out. I have tried a number of fixes. Firstly I tried doing the followings command

    • bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
    • bootrec.exe /fixmbr
    • bootrec.exe /Fixboot
    followed by chkdsk but nothing seems to happened

    Then I did a system restore which seemed to fix it for a while but then it rebooted to the repair loop. Finally I reset the PC and reinstalled windows. Again this worked for a while and then rebooted to the repair loop. I am stuck and any help would
    be appreciated.
