  1. PC turns on fans running at full speed but no display for monitor, no lights from mic,...

After hurricane Milton my friends booted up his PC after he got his power back and his monitor says no display detected, his keyboard or mouse aren't lighting up either. He went out got a new motherboard and CPU as well as RAM just to finish building it and discover the same problem again. He also tried brand new HMDI cords with the same result. Could it be he needs to reinstall windows on it or is it something else. Let me know any other details you may need to help solve.CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7000RAM: Corsair Vengence RGB DDR5 16 GB x2Motherboard: B650 Plus wifi TufGPU: MSI GAMING X GeForce GTX 1

My Windows PC Fan is running at High Speed after a few hours of "Sleep"

Three times in the last two weeks when I go to use my Desktop PC with Windows 11 PRO, with all the latest updates, the cooling fan is running at Full speed. The power light is no longer blinking and is on steady, which usually means the PC just has the Display turned off. Tapping the power button, a key on the keyboard or even the mouse does not "Wake Up" the display or computer. I need to hold the power button for a few seconds, long enough that the power light goes off, and then restart the PC. WORSE, When I shut down the PC at night to avoid this issue, the next morning the power button is light, the fan is not running, HOWEVER, Tapping the power button, a key on the keyboard or even the mouse does not "wake Up" the computer. Again, I have to hold the power button for a few seconds, long enough that the power light goes off, and then restart the PC.

What bugs did Microsoft put in the Update to Windows 11 Pro two weeks ago?

  3. Night Light Setting and Third Monitor.

    Hi Reagan,

We would like to ask you some questions in order assist you properly:

    • Did Night light work previously on all three monitors?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your PC?
    • Are you getting an error message on the third monitor regarding Night light?
    • Is the third monitor being detected by your PC?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

While waiting for your response, we suggest that you try to connect your third monitor to what you are using on the 2 working monitors to see if it is only a loose connection issue.

    Regards.

PC turns on; peripherals won't light up or display anything

I was on my pc and I shut it down before I left. I came back, and went to power it on, and everything inside the pc works. The fans turn on and light up, CPU cooler displays liquid temps, GPU fans spin and light up, however, my mouse, keyboard, mic, and monitors have zero signal. I have completed dusted it, cleared any residual power via powering off, removing the power source, disconnecting all peripherals, holding the power button for 10-15sec and then powering it back on. I have cleared the CMOS battery. I have reseated the GPU, and I have moved the GPU to a different PCIe slot. I have reseated the RAM as well as changing what slots my RAM are in(ensuring they're in the proper channels). The motherboard has no debug LED panel. I have double checked all PSU -> Motherboard connections. This PC is about three months old running Windows 11. I am at a loss for what to try, I've exhausted Google and Youtube to the best of my ability. Everything I have found, I have done except taking it to the manufacturer which is NZXT. I have contacted them, and they gave me trouble shooting steps to follow, which I have done except reseating the CPU because I don't want to spill liquid inside of my pc(probably wouldn't happen, but I don't want to risk it unless it is a last resort.

    Spec List:

    OS: Windows 11 Home

    PSU: 750W Gold

    MB: Gigabyte B650 UC AD

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

    GPU: 4070 Ti

    RAM: 32GB DDR5 5200MHz

    Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
