PC Wifi signal keeps dropping after a few minutes.

Problem: Wifi signal drops. If I disconnect and reconnect it will go back to normal and work for anywhere between 1 to 20 minutes before dropping again. When it drops the icon in the tray displays 0 bars while it's usually at full, and after a minute of that it will start doing things like the tray icon will be at full bars but in the network &sharing center it will be rapidly swapping between "connecting" and "disconnected" after a while of that the tray icon will start strobe lighting between disconnected and full bars. When it does this, if I look at my Data usage, it will be rapidly re

  3. Laptop keeps dropping wifi signal, computer or Windows 10?

I have to replace my Sony VAIO that ran Windowns 7 because of the graphic card kicked the bucket. This new Dell laptop "supposed" to be better and faster but there's one problem - it keeps dropping wifi signals.

The Sony with win 7 did drop signals but it was more like a once or twice a day sort of thing. This one, it drops signals every few minutes. Sometimes it comes back on its own in matter of seconds, other times, I have to troubleshoot to bring it back, while the odd times, I just have to sit tight to wait for it to miraculously recover. ***In fact, I finished typing my post a minute ago and when I hit "submit" the wifi dropped and now I am typing a second time.***

We have other wireless devices in the house but none of them has the same issue. The desktop also runs win 10 but it's wired to the network so never a problem.

I don't know much about computers but one thing I know is that nothing else has changed other than a new laptop with a different OS. Is dropping signals a common problem with win 10 or should I blame my computer? *chuckle

Wifi keeps on losing signal strength

So I Google Searched every possible solution and nothing really helped, I even went to the point going to the configure in Network Adapter Settings > Configure > Ticked off Allowed The Computer To Turn Off This Device To Save Power

It worked For 15 minutes or so, then the Wifi kept on dropping out, I've Restarted and Done All The Router Stuff, That Other Blogs Suggested, Still Nothing, Wifi continuously Drives me insane, now it drops to 2 bars of signal all the time.

I also did ipconfig/ flushdns and that didn't work either, though i was hoping it would, but anyway, I have port forwarded my IP so I can play Mine Craft with my cousin, but other than That, I have No idea why it just drops constantly in wifi signal all the time.

If Anybody else knows what I can do to get it staying 5/4 bars signal Strength and not drop when I'm watching Netflix or playing Mine Craft or Battlefield 4 Multi Player. Please let me know what else I can do, if they need my Wire Less info/name of it, it is

    Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160

and yes it is up to date in patches and etc... it worked fine even in Windows 7 Home and Windows 8.1 Home, but as soon as I grabbed Windows 10 Home Update, it just keeps on doing this annoying bug. So Please may Some One Help me.
