Windows 10: PC with no internet for real after updating to windows 10 version 2004

I just updated my Windows 10 machine to version 2004 and now it can't connect to the internet. I know there's a bug where people are seeing the "no internet connection" message even though they can connect, but this is not my case. I cannot access internet with wifi or ethernet for real. Already tried to reset the network adapter but it didn't work. I'm writing this from another machine connected to the same network so its enough proof it's not an issue with the connection or the router. Need to fix this ASAP as this is my work machine. Thanks

After windows version 2004 update, internet is not working - tried all the trouble shooting steps but issue was persisted. Internet started to work only after reverting to previous version 1909
