Windows 10: PC won’t boot

I was recommended a piece of software ‘Advanced Systems Care’ ASC, to clean up the computer. I loaded it just after the latest Microsoft update was installed. It worked fine but when I tried to shutdown the computer it took a long time. When I tried to start the computer I got two successive screens with ‘Fujitsu’ and then a beautiful picture of Peru and the time and date. I could go no further!! By unplugging the computer I managed to get to a repair screen but at the end of the advanced selections I was asked for the ‘administrators’ password. I use a password for my account but it is not the administrators pass word which I don’t think that I ever had. I keep all my passwords in a ‘safe’ but there is no administrators password. I can’t get beyond Peru to enter my pw and open the desk top. The ASC seems to have corrupted the registry.

Pressing F8 during startup does not help. The boot up process is completely messed up!

What can be done, if anything, to get the computer working again please? Any suggestions? It is presently a useless piece of metal!!!

This is how it is now and I can get no further - I guess the registry is scrambled?

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

Steps that i have tried:
"No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

Made sure all connections are properly connected.

Flashing the CMOS

Tested the PSU

Followed all steps in the user manual
