    PC won't shutdown completely...


    Hi there! I have a PC with Windows 10 and I decided to install the MacOS creating a dual boot on 2 separate SSDs. I have successfully installed the other OS but, in the end, I gave up on Apple. To delete their system I logged into windows, normal way, and used DiskPart to clean the disk and format it later which I succeeded on. However, whenever I shutdown the PC, in the usual manner, or try to restart it, either the computer freezes on shutdown screen either it turns off Keyboard, mouse and monitor gets turned off too but motherboard light and fans still keep running. Please Help me! I do not know if formatting windows is going to solve anything but that is the last option i pretend to use.

    Which steps did you perform? Was this from a clean boot?
    Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste this command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00
    It will boot to the recovery options or windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
    Click troubleshooting and click reset this computer. You will be saving files. Applications and programs will be removed. Windows will be reinstalled.
    Enter your windows logon password.
    You will see getting things ready with rotating dots.
    Click resetting this PC.
    It will then display the HP logo with resetting this PC with rotating dots and a percentage.
