  3. Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2992&SUBSYS_2802103C&REV_02\3&21436425&0&10 requires further installation

I am using a program that is not displaying correctly. Their help desk is telling me that my driver needs updated. Everything worked before I did a windows 10 update and when I go to control panel and check for driver update, windows says that I have the
current driver. When I check the log I get this message:

    Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2992&SUBSYS_2802103C&REV_02\3&21436425&0&10 requires further installation

    Thanks,

    Joe

PCI Serial Port. The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

I bought a refurbished HP and discovered an issue:

    PCI Serial Port

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

I read a couple threads and know that I have to find the right Driver to download. But I have had no luck finding one. I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and no change.

Here is what it shows under Events in Device manager:

    Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_3646103C&REV_03\3&33fd14ca&0&1B requires further installation.

How do I find the right one to download?

FYI I am a simple user, computer savvy enough to use but I don't build them or program them, so please simple terms are appreciated! Thanks,

    K
