Windows 10: Performance issues in games while using an Xbox One S controller via bluetooth

I've run into this issue with multiple devices using varying bluetooth modules and Windows versions where I go to use an Xbox One S controller with my system's built in bluetooth module and my games become unplayable due to the FPS drops and system lag. As soon as the controller is switched to a wired connection or xbox usb adapter it fixes the issue immediately and performance goes right back to normal. I've tried reinstalling, updating the bluetooth driver and the xbox controller firmware and it's still happening. I've also reinstalled windows, and have used multiple versions of Windows 10 but nothing has resolved this issue and i'm sure i'm not the only user effected by this.

Please fix this Microsoft. There has been no resolution for this issue and i'd like to use my xbox controller with a standard bluetooth module instead of the USB adapter or wire.

Windows 10 Xbox One S Wireless Controller issue with Dark Souls Series

Hi Wilfried,

I was able to play Dark Souls using the Xbox One S wireless controller before. The issue may relate to one of my hard drives failing and being replaced.

I have tried uninstalling all of the games fully and reinstalling them but it hasn't fixed the issue.

I have tried to update my controller but the Xbox Accessories app is telling me that it is already up-to-date.

I have also performed the troubleshooting steps in that link already, to no avail.
