    Periodic Lock Ups w/ High CPU Usage


    Hello all,

    Every now and then my laptop will lock up with high cpu usage or just slow to a crawl. I want to use a program to capture when this happens. For example:

    I want to set up a program to generate a log or alert when a process reaches say 85% usage of the CPU for like 3 seconds or more. Even if it cant do duration, just having it generate a log whenever a process gets that high will be enough.

    Anyone know of a program that could do this? I thought maybe Process Monitor or Perfmon could do this but I couldnt find a way, doesnt mean anything though.

    Windows 10 freezing due to high CPU usage.

    i have a similar problem when my my CPU is being worked hard in a game or while video editing my cpu usages is pretty high in the 90s and then windows just compleatly locks up its really annoying when trying to work on a video and it all started when i upgraded
    to windows 10 recently
