    Permently disable windows update


    Hello. I have the 100% disk problem which massively slows down my PC I'm running windows 10 home. I can fix it by going into services.msc, scrolling down to windows update and setting startup type to disabled and service status to stop, click apply, restart, etc. But this only fixes it for a few days, the 100% disk problem comes back within 3 - 4 days and I have to go into services.msc and fix it all over again but my machine is running so slowly it takes 15 minutes. Does anyone know how I can disable windows update permanently, for ever!
