I've been having this problem for a very long time now, a microstutter occuring every one to two seconds or so.

Stutterspeed seems to vary a bit depending on the workload.

Stuttering occurs in games but also in videos or in browser.

I captured this phenomenon with my phone in slowmotion and it looks like my system is putting a past frame in between newer ones. See the links below:

I have no clue what this could be, maybe someone here can point me in the right direction?

maybe this is of any help?

    Microstutter in Build 2004

I recently updated my Windows 10 to build 2004, and since then every time I connect my bluetooth device, i get microstutter, but when its disconnected, I don't get microstutter. I get microstutter both in audio and video.

  3. Microstuttering and sound popping

Since installing the latest feature update for Win 10, I've had an issue with frequent microstuttering. The fps drop is basically imperceptible, I need to be running an FPS counter to notice it. But the sound issue is egregious. I'm used to some microstuttering running games on laptops, depending on the game. Usually it'll occur when loading a new asset. But here, it's not just games and it impacts the sound. It can happen minutes or seconds apart, feels quite random. It does not seem to be bound to anything going on that I can see on the task manager - it can happen with very low disc, memory and CPU usage. And it can happen when I'm just watching video on VLC. So I have no idea what to do about it, any suggestions?

    Microstuttering masterclass

That's it, I'm gonna strangle someone! erocker, give me your home address and telephone number and we'll arrange that showdown! *Laugh  j/k

It's sort of the first option, but it's not making a statement about any particular system. I simply ask if you've seen the effect (doesn't matter where) then how much does it bother you.

I noticed that no-one "kinda likes it" lol.

I think the question is clear, but if you think it should be rephrased, I'm open to offers. *Toast :toast: In fact, reading through the thread, quite a few people have suggested different poll options, so feel free to rejig it!

If it is rephrased, then I suggest that all the votes be cleared.
