Windows 10: Personalization - Background - Slideshow

The option for selecting photos for the slideshow says "Choose albums for your slideshow". I'm curious about the choice of the word "albums" instead of merely "folders". But aside from that, the BROWSE button allows one to select only ONE folder instead of multiple folders. Because the word ALBUMS (plural) is used instead of ALBUM (singular), just how does one select more than one folder to be used as a source for the photos in the slideshow?


Yes, I've tried CTRL to select more than one folder but that doesn't work. If you select one folder and then go back to select an additional folder, it merely replaces the previous selection instead of adding to it.


It would seem the intent would be to allow for multiple folders because the area on the screen which shows the chosen folder seems extra wide as if to allow space to display just more than one choice.

Set background slideshow

• Press Windows logo key + I key.
• Click on Personalization.
• Under Background dropdown menu, select slideshow.
• Click on Browse button and then select the folder from which the desktop slide’s to be applied.
