The holidays are almost here, and Xbox Design Lab is the perfect gift for yourself or the gamer in your life. Xbox Design Lab is a customization program that offers over a billion ways to customize your very own Xbox Wireless Controller. Starting today, you can access the design experience right from your Xbox One dashboard or the Microsoft Store app on your PC. When using either device, we’ve streamlined the design experience so there are fewer clicks between you and your personalized controller. To add to the convenience, the checkout process will auto-populate any information you’ve stored in your Microsoft Account.

With Xbox Design Lab, you can customize the controller body, back case, D-pad, bumpers, triggers, thumbsticks, ABXY, View and Menu buttons with various colors, patterns and metallic finishes. You can also take things a step further by adding rubberized diamond grips or laser engraving to add your Gamertag or a custom 16-character message.

To design your controller from your Xbox One console, follow the steps below:

1. From your Xbox One console go to the Microsoft Store

2. Search for “Xbox Design Lab” or scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “Xbox Design Lab” tile

3. Design your controller and select “Add to cart” when you are finished

4. Follow the steps to “checkout” and complete your order

When using the Microsoft Store app, open the app, search for “Xbox Design Lab” and follow the steps above.

Xbox Design Lab Adds More Customization Options and Expands

Last year, we unveiled Xbox Design Lab, the first online customization program we’ve ever launched where you can design your very own official Xbox Wireless Controller. Since then, fans have created hundreds of thousands of unique designs that express their creativity and style. Today, we’re excited to announce that we are adding even more customization options based on fan feedback, now giving you over a billion design combinations to choose from. We’ve also refreshed the design interface for a more seamless experience and will be launching Xbox Design Lab to more countries starting today.On top of all the original customization options available in Xbox Design Lab, we’ve added:
