    Pestered by pop-ups

I am being pestered by pop-ups which get in the way of what I am trying to do and also impede me from doing whatever the notification is advising me to do. I know Windows OS has the best of intentions, but for me it's implementation is not at all user friendly, including the use of tiny and feint text which is difficult to read..

So first, is there a way to minimise the notifications or get them out of my face until I am ready to respond to them? They seem to be impossible to minimise or delete or move or elsewhere.

Secondly, what should I do in response? At present they notify that the IMF Core.exe is corrupted and so is BOOTX.Log and \DJ1510_188(1). Power searchers such as Everything cannot find them, anti-virus does not detect them, ChK Dsk does not report them. The OS does not even state on what Drive they are located.

    :)
