    Set up the phone app and allowed it to connect to my Note 8. This is the message I keep getting. I have restarted, reinstalled.

    The only thing that seems to work is, I can send texts out. I tested by sending myself a text message in the app, so I'm assuming it'll work for every number. I cannot, however, reply to that text from my phone and have it show in the conversation window of the app.

    Has anyone else had similar issues? Google seems to indicate the app is hit or miss. Any workarounds to get it on par with a utility like KDE Connect?

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview


    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
