Windows 10: Phone Link connection often goes offline on PC. Why?

Phone Link used to be a stable connection between phone and PC for years. Lately the PC tells me frequently that the phone is offline. The phone is right next to the PC - Surface Go running Win10 fully up to date in my case. Phone is a new Samsung Galaxy A25 running Android 14 - fully up to date, including Link to Windows.Seems to happen more often when the phone screen goes dark because of screen timeout but not sure. Sometimes not always in the middle of typing a text on the PC connection goes offline. Again, phone is right next to the PC. Other connections to other devices are solid. Am I

Phone Link vs Samsung Flow vs Samsung Dex?

I found out about the problem when I ran games on the phone using Phone Link. Assuming that the PC is connected to the phone with Phone link On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Not available

However, on the PC if you run Bluetooth Audio Receiver and open a connection to the phone then On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Enabled

 

The printer automatically goes to offline and disconnected.

Hi,

A HP printer automatically goes to offline and disconnected. The printer is connected with a Windows 10 Home laptop.

I did..

• Printer reset.
• Printer power cycle.
• Replaced printer cable for connecting with laptop.
• Plugged to another USB port of the laptop.
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver.
• Checked in both connections (wire and wireless).

In both cases (wire and wireless) and after reinstalling the driver it works fine for sometimes.

After sometimes, it goes offline and disconnected automatically. Also it works fine while printing offline files and gets offline and disconnected while printing online docs/ webpages.

Please let me know, how to fix this issue?

PC Windows 10 Bluetooth won't connect with Pixel 3XL phone

I have a Lenovo Yoga C930 PC (Win 10) that I cannot connect to my Pixel 3XL phone. I can get them to pair, but the PC bluetooth will only hold the connection for about 1 second, then says 'not connected'.

I have removed the PC from the phone's list of previously connected devices & then re-paired-numerous times. I have shut down & re-started both devices numerous times. None of these actions have worked. I am praying that one of you smart readers can help me solve this highly frustrating problem, pretty please?

BTW, I recently ran the upgrade on my phone from android 9 to 10. Could this be the problem? I see other changes on my phone that I think add steps & make it more cumbersome to use. Wish I could dump android 10 & go back to 9, but don't know how to do that either. If that is not the cause of this connection problem with the PC, I can live with it.

I would appreciate all advice. Please know that I am a 60-something year old- more knowledgeable than a basic user, but not super well versed in all of the software & hardware fixes that many of you know, so please write your suggestions/solutions accordingly. Many thanks in advance
