Windows 10: Phone Link

Hi,last Saturday, I used my phone regularly, put it in the back pocket and 1 hour later it started with a factory reset. I had no option but to do it. I had a lot of important pictures on there, I had it on the phone link app prior, so I can see the pictures on the computer, but I can't download them to save them. Well, I tried for the past few days every which way I could think off, worried that if I scanned the QR code they would disappear. After I seem to have run out of options I did connect with it again, but it recognized the device as a different on. Which would make sense. However, I s

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
