    phone number and possible spyware scam


    wifes computer received alert about being hacked by pornographic spyware and said to call microsoft immediately at 800-583-0518 to remedy problem. It said the breach had been caught by defender. Person there was asking for alot of personal info: full name,address,phone#,email. Kept pushing and I just need to know if this was a real microsoft person or not. I tried to reverse look up but they could not locate any info about number. Now wifes computer is locked. What do we need to do to correct this? Please give me a lead or point me in right direction. I have unplugged computer until we find ou
