Windows 10: Photo App Video Editor "Finish Video" Not Running when Screen Saver / Logon Screen Active

Discus and support Photo App Video Editor "Finish Video" Not Running when Screen Saver / Logon Screen Active in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; After many experiments I discovered that the Photos App will not "Finish video" if a screen saver is active or Logon screen is up.     Photo App Video Editor "Finish Video" Not Running when Screen Saver / Logon Screen Active


    After many experiments I discovered that the Photos App will not "Finish video" if a screen saver is active or Logon screen is up. It just stalls. Sometimes it will continue again if you go back into the system but with large videos it's hard to tell.


    My question is: WHY?!?!


    Also please add simple transitions fade in, fade out, etc to the editor.

    Create a video that finishes on last scene and doesn't go to black screen

    Hi I am trying to create a video using the video editor in the Photos App but when I export it plays in Windows Media Player and reverts to a black screen once finished. I would like to end on the last scene from the video. Any suggestions?

    Did an update to 20H2, and bloatware run, now photos and video editor are no longer found. Any suggestions.

    Photo App Video Editor "Finish Video" Not Running when Screen Saver / Logon Screen Active

    Video Editor in Photo app

    The video editor is built right into the Photos app. So, if you have the photos app installed then you also have the video editor. If it is not showing in the start menu then Please open the photos app and look in the topmost options. You will find an option
    "Video Projects". Click on it, the Video Editor will open.
