  1. Photo attachments

    Hi

I've recently changed a setting in on my PC that is now making my photos extremely slow to attach if at all. It happens to any photo that I try to upload or attach in uploading in an email or to upload it to a site I am trying to sent it to it takes a super long time as well . Before I made some stupid change in some setting on my PC it was pretty much super fast to attach to an email and to upload and to send to a site that I was uploading it to. I am for the most part computer illiterate and even reading what the problem may be and how I might fix it is beyond me. It makes my head hurt with all of the things it may be and how to try to fix it. I need help and help that is simple to understand, If anyone can help I would be grateful.

    Thanks verysexyasiangirl.

    :)

  2. attaching photos to outgoing emails

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern. You can attach photos to outgoing email by locating the photos from the drive and clicking on it, then hit Ok; moreover, the "open" option that you are getting implies that the application is not set as a default. If you
can provide a screenshot of the issue, it would be helpful to fix this.

We would like to know more information to help you resolve this. Please answer the following questions below:

    • Are you using an application like Outlook or Mail app to send email or you are sending through web?
    • When did this issue start?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer before this issue occur?

Meanwhile, you can follow some suggested steps:

    • Set Default app for Photos. Head over to this link
      for the instructions.
    • You can also create a new user account to help you fix this. Please visit this
      link
      for the instructions.

We'll be waiting for your response and the result.

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done Photo attachments :) I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
