Photo editor saves copy which is partially hidden from documents

I edited a file I had copied from my camera and saved a copy using Photo editor 10, but clicking on the Documents icon under quick access shows everything except that file, I can only access it by going to This PC / Local disk C / users / my-username / documents to find the file or Looking at recent files which list it as being in This PC / documents

I have tried looking at the properties of the file and the Properties of the documents folder but cant work out why it would be selectively hidden, I did try opening the files properties and ticking on unblock this file but that made no difference.

The Documents folder and This PC / Local disk C / users / my-username / documents folder appear to have the same properties so is there a problem with files created by Photo editor or is it a problem with the way my files are handled?

I am using version 1809 build 17763.557 of Windows.

Does anyone know what attribute/security setting to look for to diagnose this problem?

    :)

Microsoft has replaced Photo Editor with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, a new photo editing and cataloging program in Office 2010, in Office 2007, and in Office 2003.
