  1. Photos app does not always render trimmed video

    Hello,

If I want to trim a video using the Photos app, I always need to place the app's window somewhere in sight, in the active pane. If it is in the background meaning if I have another app, like Google, and the other ones I do not see, it does not render the trimmed video and I have to do it again. As soon as I put the Photos trim app in the from the pane, meaning I see the window, it does the rendering till the end. Is it a Windows 10 Pro feature or is it something wrong with my app? Thank you in advance.

    :)

  2. Cannot save trimmed videos using the Photos App

I have a couple videos that I want to trim down in the Photos App; however, every time I attempt to trim the video, Photos would crash. After crashing, a trimmed file of the video would show up, but I cannot view the new clip.

  3. Trimmed video doesn't save at correct framerate

When trimming a video on either the Photos or Movies & TV apps, the new video doesn't preserve the framerate of the original video; it seems to go down to 30 fps. The Photos app would be really great for trimming short video game clips (usually at 60fps
or greater) without using a more complicated editor that would take longer to render, but unfortunately Photos just doesn't preserve the smoother framerates. Adding a small option to the editor to choose between preserving the original framerate or going down
to 30fps would be greatly appreciated while not making the app too complicated, in my opinion. Some other rendering options could even be added, such as downscaling to a lower resolution.

  4. Photos app does not always render trimmed video

can't trim a video using Photos app

I'm trying to do a quick trim on a .mov file in the Microsoft Windows Photos app. When I have the file open and click the trim icon, I get a blue dot I can use to advance to the point of the video I would like it to end, but when I go to save it, that option
is grayed out. I see no other options. This leads me to believe there is nothing edited to save. If this is the case, how do I trim the video and then save it?
