Windows 10: Photos app update

Looks like a photos app update has been made available on Windows store. One of our machines got offered it just now. But our main PC has not. Does anyone know why one machine finds it whilst the other does not. It's a tad frustrating. The same happened a while back with camera app. One machine got it, whilst the other didn't get it til approx a week later! It's a bit odd

Missing Fall Creators Update features after Photos app re-install

You might need to periodically check the Windows Store for updates for the Photos app.

or you can try resetting the Photos app then check for updates:

Open Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features

Scroll down to Photos

Select Photos

Click Advanced options

Click Reset

Restart your computer.

Check the store again for updates.

 

Xbox One X Microsoft Photos app not populating

Check for updates when your in the store

 

Hi, yes I did that on both machines. I never allow auto app updates. Always run manual checks. But one pc got offered it whilst the other does not show the same update.
