Windows 10: photos video editor

Hello

My subject is not listed. There is no subject for Windows 10 Apps I guess. I guess everything is perfect with all apps for everyone.

I used WINDOW PHOTOS, VIDEO EDITOR a month ago. I was able to crop and add text and save to my computer.

I cannot do that now. I am FORCED to save to ONE DRIVE. I do not want to do that. Supposedly it is "save to your computer" NO IT'S NOT. I can open it in edit mode. I cannot email or share it or upload to youtube. What is the purpose of this?



Also, I tried to upload to one drive, I had five vid. panels in my story board. It was attempting to upload all five individually.


What good does it do me to have a video editor that I cannot even save to the computer that I created it on. I would need internet and have to upload it, then down load it. This is ****-backwards. If there is any hope that someone can offer me, please speak up. I needed to upload professional vids for something and am no longer able to. AS well as family stuff, that is not anything that I want on ONE DRIVE! WHICH CAN BE SHARED. I cannot even send emails without the photos being shared to ONE DRIVE. Why do I HAVE TO keep a copy on line to the email company that I use? Since when do I not have any choice. I will never agree to having all of the on line storage of my personal photos and attachments that I sent in private emails. This is invasive.

photo editor and video editor

Please suggest me a very good video editor and a photo editor (although inbuilt photo editing is there but still if there is any better) for my nokia 808 pureview white and from where i can download these and install in my mobile.

1. May I know on which device the issue persists?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 is installed on your device?

Update Photos app

Lynn Nairn dated on May 7, 2018 regarding the issue with the missing Video editor feature.

How do I Remove Video Editor and Connect?

Video Editor is part of Photos, I'm not sure you can just remove that and leave Photos in place.

For newer apps not yet listed in the tutorial, see Step 4 to find out the names of all the app packages, then you'll know the names to use in Powershell.
