    Photos won't open to me file system error -2147219196 but opens by another user


    I have Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 19042.630 Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.31.0


    If I look at my photos I cannot open them but get error 2147219196.

    If I change to another user I can open both the other user's photos and also my own.


    Any instructions in Microsoft support pages have not helped e.g. Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml”}


    The problem is very irritating and expert support will be required.
