Windows 10: Photoshop Elements and File Manager

How to stop Photoshop Elements from opening when I click on a file in File Manager (Windows) to move it. I click on one, shift click to add several, and Photoshop Elements opens.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode and Run the program with Windows 8.

Photoshop Elements 12

Hi BD

Yes, you can get Photoshop Elements 12 to work on Windows 10, you must first change this setting:

Open the old Control Panel, go to Programs and Features

On the left, click 'Turn Windows Features on or off'

Find Direct Play in the resulting list and turn that on

Then, save that and restart your PC, you should then be able to install and use Photoshop Elements 12

 

Windows 10, Cannot 0pen saved Photoshop Elements 12 files.
